  1. I just subscribed and am looking forward to trying many new foods. Thanks for the simple recipes with all of the detailed directions. I’m going to start with the simple salad dressing, the chicken and pasta puttanesca. Could I go easy on the capers and the anchovy paste so I can eat it and put anchovies on my husband’s portion so he’ll get all of the flavor?

    • I don’t think it’s possible to leave out the anchovies, which are an important ingredient for the puttanesca, but you could probably leave out the capers, toss the sauce with the pasta, serve yourself, then toss the remaining pasta with some capers. Let me know how it works out! Jennifer
