I found this in one of my mother’s Ina Garten cookbooks, and it’s fantastic. Makes 5 cups.
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 TBS fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup Triple Sec
- 3 cups ice
- 1 cup white tequila
- kosher salt and extra lime for glass rims
Combine lime juice, lemon juice and Triple Sec in a blender. Add ice and puree. Add tequila and blend for a few more seconds. If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, dip glass rim in a plate of kosher salt, then fill with ice and pour.
